Kick-Off Sunday

Sunday, September 13, 2009 is Sunday School Kick-Off at First United Methodist Church!!

As a part of Sunday School Kick-Off - the 3rd graders will be receiving a bible at the beginning of the 11:00 a.m. service.

All Preschool - 5th grade  students should accompany their families to the 11:00 a.m. service and after the bible presentation the Sunday School students will be dismissed to the Fellowship Hall to enjoy a Kick-Off Sunday Carnival.

Starting Sunday, September 20th - Preschool through 5th grade students should report to their Sunday School room PRIOR to the 11:00 a.m. service. The first 15 minutes of Sunday School will be "Music Time" and the remaining 45 minutes will be spent learning about Jesus Christ and the Christian Faith.

In addition, the following Sunday School classes will be offered during the 9:30 a.m. service:

**A one-room Sunday School for Preschool through 5th graders

**Middle School Sunday School

**High School Sunday School

These classes will commence on September 20th as well.

The following programs and activities will be offered every Wednesday Night at FUMC starting September 16th:

5:30 p.m.             Meal

6:00 p.m.             Children's Choir/Children's Activities - Pre-5th Grade

                                Middle School UMYF/Confirmation

7:00 p.m.             Youth Choir - 6th - 12th Grade

7:30 p.m.             High School UMYF

A registration form is attached for all Sunday School and Wednesday Night Live activities. Please fill out a form for EACH child planning to participate in Sunday School or Wednesday Night Live activities and return to the church office. Forms will also be available the next couple of Sundays and Wednesdays and in the church office.
